The 'AirBuds Popup' is an utility application (the "app") for Android devise which helps using the 'AirPods' headset on Android environment.
'Designer J' ("us", "we", or "our") is a developer of this application and operating.
This page was written to inform followings clearly.

The purpose of use of sensitive permissions
- 'Location' permission :
This app uses the 'BLE scan' function to access the battery information of the nearest AirPods.
The Android system requires location permission to use 'BLE scan' by an app.
This app never access to user's GPS location information.
- 'Recording audio' permission :
To provide the 'Assistive Listen' function, this app records the audio of device while the function is running.
This app doesn't record any audio in case of not working that feature.
- 'Read Phone state' permission :
This permission is used to recognize the incoming call in the idle state of phone for the 'Read caller' feature.
The 'Read caller' is a feature to reads the caller name of incoming call by using system TTS service.
- 'Read call log' permission :
This permission is used to access the phone number of the incoming call from the Android system for the 'Read caller' feature.
The 'Read caller' is a feature to reads the caller name of incoming call by using system TTS service.
- 'Read contact' permission :
This permission is used to find out the stored name of the incoming call number from user contact for the 'Read caller' feature.
The 'Read caller' is a feature to reads the caller name of incoming call by using system TTS service.
* Above permissions are allowed explicitly by user before the related feature is used.
The detail of user information collected
- This app never collect any user information identifying user.
The policy of using user information
- This doesn't have the network access permission and doesn't use any network such as internet. So this app can't upload and share user information to online network.
- This doesn't output any information to the app log system.
